Simple, surgical, and wisdom teeth: first we check whether the tooth can still be saved. If not, we take it out calmly under anaesthetic.
Extraction is not the first step “because it is faster”. A filling or a canal is often cheaper than an implant in the gap. If the tooth is wrecked, an impacted wisdom tooth is crowding the neighbour, or the orthodontist needs space — we extract from an image, not by feel. Complex cases and fear — sedation is available.

Extraction FAQ
Must every wisdom tooth come out?
No. A straight eight you can clean that is not crowding can stay. We remove when there is decay, flap inflammation, pressure on the seven, or an orthodontic plan.
Does it hurt?
Under anaesthetic — pressure, not pain. Afterwards — swelling and a dull ache for 1–3 days, more after a difficult eight. Pain relief and cold on a schedule.
When can I eat and go to work?
Soft food on the other side once the anaesthetic wears off. The office is often fine the next day; after an atypical eight, keep a quiet day.
What if it bleeds a lot afterwards?
The first hours: a gauze pack and rest. If the mouth keeps filling with blood, you have a fever, or numbness that does not fade — call; do not wait until morning.
Can you place an implant the same day?
Sometimes, if bone and gums are calm. After pus or a difficult eight we usually wait for healing. The image decides, not the price list.
